Peak District Climbing
Climbing in the Peak District is a very popular activity thanks to the stunning array of experiences that are on offer. From Traditional climbing on the White Peaks limestone to Sports climbing around the amazing gritstone crags you will find every possibel type of climbing. The Peak District is also well visited by climbers looks for fun and exciting bouldering, and this can be found throughout the region. Areas such as Stanage Edge, Burbage Valley, Curbar and Froggatt Edge all have routes from the easiest classics to the modern test pieces. The White Peaks such as Chee Dale, Dovedale and Stoney Middleton are home the the more difficult routes with steeper faces and generally a high level of fitness required! The Peak District offers climbs for everyone and combined with the spectacular scenery it's easy to see whay the Peak District is so popular for all types of climbing.
