Stoney Middleton

Stoney Middleton is a series of impressive limestone buttresses that are found along the side of the A623 just outside of the village of Stoney Middleton. The area is popular with climbers with all skill level thanks to climbs in a great range of grades. There are over 100 traditional climbing routes at Stoney Middleton along with one sport route. The area is sheltered and quick drying too, so it is easy to see why this climbing location is so popular. Access is incredibly easy, with parking on a large layby of the A623 just a minute away.
